Sensitive Materials

Ordinary web forms are not a secure channel for extremely sensitive evidence. Do not use Contribute, email, or messaging apps to send material that could endanger you or others if intercepted.

Sensitive evidence includes, for example, unpublished testimony about ongoing harm, identifying images of people at risk, internal documents whose leak would create retaliation, and location data that could be used to find someone.

If you believe Dhār should know that such material exists, use the Contribute form only to describe the category of material and a safe way to reach you — not the evidence itself. Editors will not promise secure handling beyond what the current system can actually do. A separately reviewed transfer process will be published on this page when it exists.
