Ethics & Safety
Dhār reviews material for dignity, consent, and risk before publication. Exact home addresses, private phone numbers, identification documents, and unnecessary family details are not published. Names may be withheld even when publicly circulating if repetition creates new risk.
Distressing images, where necessary to the record, require review, content warnings, and intentional reveal. Political art is preserved as expression and is not, by itself, factual verification of the event it depicts.
Human-rights case records follow a separate ethics and security workflow and are not rushed to meet launch dates.
